It seems that enblock issues are starting to involve cats. Two cases came to us recently. One was about some newly relocated cats causing issues in a few new blocks in Jurong West Extension; meant for enblock movers from Old Boon Lay. The moving residents probably brought some of their community cats to here. Most of these cats aren’t sterilised and so there are some kittens and noise issues (from mating calls).
A second case is now handled by Salina who has fell ill from all the caregiver work she is doing alone. This East Coast area case involves some ten over cats in a condomium that was slated for enblock sale. Of late, this condo sees an upward increase in vandalism cases involving residents’ cars, and this was reported in the papers. Recently, someone started complaining about the community cats there too (probably in hope to get the cats caregivers to move out too).
