Me, Chocolate Chips & Furry Babies..

Lynn:
Some people may think I am “CRAZY” & many more have said I am “MAD”…Even MY FRIENDS who doesnt understand said I AM “SO OBSESSED”…But frankly, all that doesnt really matters to me and they can say whatever they want. Its just music to my ears..
Without fail my ‘CHOCOLATE CHIPS” will always be with me no matter where I go, day & night (nearly 24 hours a day) safely in my “SPECIAL BAG”. And only my “KAKIs” will know who the ‘CHOCOLATE CHIPS” meant for.
Each and every night I go around feeding my “community furry babies”.. Feeding them helps me destress and also maintain my sanity after a hard day at work and being a working wife, etc. Seeing them “BELLY HAPPY” makes me happy too that they will not go with empty stomach till the next feed. Seeing them every day and gaining trust in me as time goes by gives me a sense of achievement and relief that I will one day be able to trap them for TNRM program when they are at age to be neuter. The chemistry and bonding hopefully will stay even if its for a ‘SHORT PERIOD”. And losing even one of them will sure affect me emotionally, its really sad even if I realise of the the furry babies is missing but I always think positive, knowing that the “furry babies” is in a better LIFE or PLACE.
Yah..Yah..Yah.. people will say “Aiyah its just a stupid cat/kitten what!!!!” or even “stray only what & don’t have to sad sad lah. But to people like me who have emotional bonds with these “POOR SOULS”…it really saddens me that I may not be able to “PROTECT” each and every one of the from HARM and dangers lurking around that may some times beyond our control.
BUT HOW DO I PROTECT THEM???? It’s so hard and no matter how hard I’ve tried, it feels like I’m fighting a losing battle. It ain’t easy and its breaking my heart that “ONE DAY” all the time spent, the bonding session maybe “SHORTLIVED”, anything can happen without even knowing the future lies for my ” community furry babies”. But I have learnt to CHERISHED and APPRECIATE the TIME I have with them even if its just for even a day, a week, a month and hopefully years..Don’t know what the future lies for these “furry babies” and dont want to anticipate all efforts that one day might go down the drain.
So I am taking one day at a time…enjoying their carefree companion for now….
My other “furry babies” at HOME are indeed fortunate to have shelter, food and the comfort of a HOME compared to their other “furry friends” who are always in constant DANGER…
To my “community furry babies”..be strong in surviving and facing the HARSH WORLD…….To all caregivers/feeders, please DO NOT GIVE UP ON THEM.
