Li Tin:
Just got news from a friend that his younger sister had a female cat, and had been letting her out at night to roam. That was Bad Move #1.

Kailing and I went over to MND Building this evening to attend a briefing with AVA with regards to the Responsible Pet Ownership Roadshow 2008.
It is going to be held 7-9 November this year, and it’s gonna be huge!
We are planning some activities to draw in crowds as well… Looks like it’s a full year ahead!
More info later…

There’s an article in the papers today, announcing the formation of a workgroup to look into dirty habits of HDB dwellers. They’re planning to look into bad behaviour that causes tensions, such as dripping laundry and littering.
I wonder if they’re going to include cat feeding as “bad behaviour”. Right now, I’m wondering if CWS should draft a letter asking that they look into irresponsible feeders. Of course, the end result is that they actually look into banning cat feeding completely.

Kailing:Yesterday saw the first ever Animal Welfare Symposium in Singapore. It was great to meet so many people concerned about animals. Besides animal welfare groups, it was heartening to see many schools, JCs and universities getting involved in the symposium!
